We are glad that you are considering a visit to the Intel International Science Fair! While we are sorry that the VIP Education Program is sold out, there is plenty to see and enjoy on Visitors' Day, May 14. Students in front of their display, explain their project to visitors

The main hall with all the competition displays is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 pm. Please note: the student finalists are there from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. only. Student activity packets for the visit experience will be available at the Reno Host Committee booth inside the main entrance of the convention center.

Approximately 1,600 displays from 55 countries will demonstrate exciting research in 17 different categories including animal sciences, social sciences, biochemistry, molecular biology, earth science, materials and engineering, physics, math, medicine, computer science, and electrical and mechanical engineering. Each Finalist’s research project is judged at least six times by a pool of nearly 1,000 science, engineering, and industry professionals who serve as volunteer judges at each Intel ISEF.

From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., the high-school-level student finalists will be available to talk with you about their research, which is generally on a college-to-graduate level. Based on the experience of past fairs, approximately 20 percent of them will have patents or patents pending on their work! They are very enthusiastic and love the opportunity to share their research, talk about their country, and practice their English!
